RR-3 Modular Fishing Backpack for Tackle and Gear
Acropolis RR-3 is a modular fishing backpack with a customizable interior that can be adapted to different fishing styles and gear setups. Its design provides organized storage for tackle boxes, organizers, reels, tools, terminal tackle and personal gear.
The backpack features two access points – front and top, allowing the interior to be divided into functional zones and providing convenient access to essential gear without unloading the entire backpack.
Modular Interior
The internal dividers are attached with hook-and-loop fasteners, allowing you to adjust the layout according to the size and type of equipment you carry.
The front compartment is designed for tackle boxes and organizers. Depending on the selected configuration, it can accommodate:
- 5–6 Meiho 3020ND-type tackle boxes;
- 3 Meiho 3020ND-type boxes and 2 Acropolis OKR-2 or OR-4p organizers;
- 5 Acropolis KB-2 tackle boxes;
- 3 Acropolis KB-2 boxes and 2 Acropolis OKR-2 or OR-4p organizers.
Two large removable dividers can be repositioned vertically by approximately 1–2 cm to adjust the height of individual sections.
The fold-down front panel features two zippered mesh pockets on the inside and a large open mesh pocket on the outside for additional storage.
Top Access – Reels, Tools and Tackle
The top opening provides access to another functional section of the backpack.
Inside are two removable organizer panels. One panel is designed for fishing tools, with elastic holders on one side and transparent pockets for hooks and other small tackle items on the other.
The second removable panel features attachment points for a buzz bar and also serves as a protective cover for the reel compartment below.
Removable dividers allow the reel section to be configured to hold two large feeder reels or three smaller spinning reels.
An additional adjustable front section can be used for pop-ups, feeders and other fishing accessories.
A zippered mesh pocket is located on the inside of the top flap.
External Storage and Attachment Options
The top flap features an elastic cord system for securing lightweight clothing, a towel, a compact sleeping mat or other gear.
Rows of MOLLE webbing on both sides of the backpack provide attachment points for additional compatible pouches and organizers.
Side compression straps with quick-release buckles help secure additional equipment and adjust the backpack according to its load. Mesh pockets at the bottom of both sides provide extra storage.
Comfortable Carrying System
The RR-3 features an anatomically shaped back panel with 3D mesh, padded adjustable shoulder straps and a chest strap for improved comfort when carrying fishing gear.
Two carrying handles provide additional options for lifting and transporting the backpack.
Durable Construction
The main body is made of D1000 polyester, with D300 polyester lining. Additional materials include mesh, 3D mesh, polypropylene foam, plastic and leatherboard.
The rubberized bottom provides additional protection against moisture and dirt when the backpack is placed on the ground.
