The AKB-2 ballistic blanket is a professional protective tarp designed to provide effective shielding against fragments (shrapnel) and small-arms projectiles. The product offers Class 2 ballistic protection according to DSTU 8782:2018 and demonstrates high fragmentation resistance with V₅₀ > 630 m/s in accordance with STANAG 2920 (Ed.3) / VST 01.301.003–2020 (02). This ballistic blanket is suitable for military personnel, medics, rescuers, volunteers, and civil defense units.

The model is crafted from durable Cordura 500D fabric with a water-repellent coating and contains 42 layers of UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) inside, which disperses impact energy and stops projectiles. Thanks to its thoughtful design, the blanket can function as a protective shield, tarp, evacuation stretcher, and can be easily folded into four layers for quick transport. It is equipped with four carry handles and an adjustable shoulder strap for maximum convenience.
